Happy International Day of Yoga 🤍
The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit root yuj - to yoke, to unite, to connect.
While many of us first come to yoga through the poses, somewhere along the way it becomes about so much more. It becomes about the people beside us, the shared breaths, the familiar faces, the encouragement, the laughter, and the moments of quiet connection. The moments that are just for you, and your body. The deepest breath you’ve taken all day.
This practice has given us the incredible gift of sharing space with you. Watching you grow, explore, play, challenge yourselves, and settle more deeply into your practice is something we never take for granted.
Thank you for being part of this community. Thank you for showing up as you are. We are endlessly grateful to walk this path with you.

✨ POSE OF THE WEEK: HALF MONKEY (ARDHA HANUMANASANA) ✨
Named after Hanuman, the devoted monkey god from Hindu mythology, this pose represents strength, courage, and unwavering faith. Hanuman is often celebrated for his incredible leap across the ocean- a reminder that sometimes the biggest leaps begin with a single step!
Half Monkey offers a deep stretch through the hamstrings while inviting us to balance effort and ease. And just like every journey looks different, every expression of this pose will too.
Options are always available:
✨ Use blocks under your hands for extra support.
✨ Loop a strap around the foot if reaching it feels out of range today.
✨ Keep your hands on your body, the earth, or a prop.
✨ Reach forward or back with the arms to explore strength, balance, and a different experience of the pose.
✨ A soft bend in the front knee is always available.
✨A tall block under the back sits bone to keep you lifted
There is no “perfect” version of Half Monkey, only the version that meets your body where it is today. Honor your unique shape, and explore with curiosity.🫶
