Dakota, June 29th. Farewell, dear friend. You were here from day one when we started Sun Hills Riding Centre. You were always a steady trail horse and an expert with the kids. You were loved and respected, and we will deeply miss you, along with your horse friends.

In Loving Memory of Jack

On June 12th, we said goodbye to Jack, a truly remarkable horse. We adopted him at 16 from Humanity for Horses, he went on to spend eight and a half wonderful years at Sun Hills Riding Centre, where he was deeply loved.
As a trail horse, Jack was a patient teacher, a steady partner, and a favorite to so many.
Jack’s legacy lives on in every rider he inspired and the hoofprints he left on our hearts.

Rest easy, sweet boy. Run free.
The pasture’s quiet in the sun,
The fields are still, the sky is wide.
Thank you, Jack, for all you gave,
And every mile we got to ride.
You will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
You were a good boy.
