SurfSkating is a new form of skateboarding that looks and feels like surfing on the ocean. The pivot Private or Group lessons available.
Location is flexible within Ottawa-Gatineau and times can be accommodated in evenings and weekends. Lessons include the use of one of several different styles of SurfSkate. SurfSkating is a lower impact sport than traditional skateboarding and doesn't require the same level of physical fitness as surfing so it is an excellent option for any age or skill level. Costs:

Winter lessons are available between now and January 25 if you want to work on ramp or bowl skills at Ottawa's indoor skatepark. My next YouTube video is going to be about how to strategically progress your SurfSkating to achieve your goals. Sometimes, we can be over-prepared and hesitant to take that last step of committing to something that is out of our comfort zone. I spent 2 hours practicing my run up to this staircase, going off the side, popping and then kicking out... Every excuse to not try to actually put my body at risk and land it. Then it started to rain. That was the cue... Do it now or miss your chance and spend another 2 hours putting it off next session! Know your limits but look for those cues from nature.

Hey folks! Exciting News for me, for Ottawa, and for SurfSkating in Canada. This past month I became the first person in North America to win a YOW Raw Contest award in their 2nd annual international surfskating competition. One month has passed and my patience is up. This Friday October 15th I will be releasing “UNCOVENTIONAL.” on my YouTube Channel!!!
I had to replace a couple songs, but the new ones still work well and guys: My heart, soul, flesh, and blood went into making this 25 minute film that has some incredible riding, scenery, and music. 25 minutes sounds long but it is so good that it feels short. If you have a passion for SurfSkate, you will not want to miss this one. I honestly think you will love it as much as I loved making it.
