CCHL Public Statement Regarding Alex Armstrong
In September 2025, the Central Canada Hockey League terminated the membership of the Pembroke Lumber Kings owner, Alex Armstrong, pending a right to appeal to Hockey Eastern Ontario and Hockey Canada. Mr. Armstrong’s appeal rights have now been exhausted and he is no longer a member of the CCHL.
Shortly, the CCHL will be seeking a buyer to purchase a membership in the League, operating out of the municipality of Pembroke, ON.
Families can be assured that the cards / playing rights of all players held by the Pembroke Lumber Kings are now vested with the CCHL. We appreciate the patience you have shown this season and as this process moves forward.
