In celebration of the World Cup starting this week, OSU has partnered with the Minto Recreational Complex to bring after-school soccer access to children in the community this month.

Starting June 15, we are offering the program from 3:30-4:30, on Monday-Wednesday-Friday as a test pilot. There is no cost to attend the program.

Welcome, Sophie! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We are pleased to welcome Sophie Hunter, as our summer exchange placement coach, in partnership with Challenger Sports. Over the last three years, OSU has partnered with Challenger Sports, to invest in bringing qualified and engaged coaches from the UK, to enhance and support our club programming each summer.

Sophie is from Livingston, Scotland, and is currently studying Football Coaching and Development at Edinburgh Napier University, where she has obtained her UEFA C-License. Outside of university studies, she works with Hearts of Midlothian (Scottish Premier League) as a development coach.

Sophie will be involved with NEXTGEN, Pre-Academy, Future Stars and the Junior Academy Girls training sessions this Summer.

Please take a moment to welcome her at the field in the coming weeks.

OSU was pleased to welcome and host Canada’s Secretary of State for Sport of Canada & former Olympian Adam van Koeverden, Bruce Fanjoy, MP for Carleton and Tyrone Henry - three-time Paralympian to our Manotick sports park this afternoon.

We heard first hand of the federal government’s recent announcement of vitally needed investment in sports infrastructure across Canada. Thank you for joining us! 🇨🇦
