New Bike Day for Peter! 🎉

Peter is a road rider and member of the venerable Arnprior Cycling road cycling club, and now he's rolling on a Montu Osiris built just down the road from where he rides.

Peter's build came together with a Shimano 105 Di2 drivetrain, Montu Allroad Carbon 50 wheelset, and 32mm Continental road tires. Keen eyed followers will note that this is one of our most popular road builds. Clean, capable, and ready for everything the Ottawa Valley roads can throw at it.

Peter went with the alloy cockpit for flexibility in dialling in his fit, then maybe a fully integrated carbon cockpit upgrade will happen next season.

We love building bikes for local riders. There's something special about seeing a Montu out on the roads right here in Arnprior.

Brendan Gorman, founder/organizer of and certified multiple-Montu-bike household, just took delivery of his Nui V2 aero allroad build.

The man already owns a Kopis. He knows what he's doing. The camo jacket and holiday pants? (Brendan said this was his "pre-Zwifting outfit.") Less certain, but perfectly normal behaviour for a man who's super excited about his new bike and understands the gospel of high-volume tires. The 40mm+ tire spec on an aero frame? Absolutely non-negotiable.

See you at Gravel Cup's one event this season: R3G3 in May.  If you're riding it, you might spot at least three Montus.

P.S. The official max tire clearance on the Nui V2 is 40mm, but the front tire on Brendan's builld is larger. First one to guess (in the comments below) the tire size shown in picture #5 gets a $30 Montu apparel voucher code.

Our friends Luc and Bev took their Montu kit to Mallorca this week and shared some pictures, along with some words of praise about their Montu kit, from their ascent up Cap de Formentor today!

The power duo are sporting the Canopic Evo Mk2 bibshorts, which continue to be our bestselling bibs for the second year in a row. The Evo Mk2 bibs come in men's and women's versions, feature our widely praised Montu Endurance Pro chamois as well as a pair of actually usable deep cargo pockets (not an after thought like cargo bibs from other brands).

Not just bibshorts though: Luc is rocking the Montu Iteru jersey notable for its silky smooth and highly breathable fabric while Bev represents our hometown in her custom Arnprior Cycling jersey (which is based on our Neht jersey).

We’re thrilled to welcome back to the Montu family for 2026.

Our history with Adam goes back to 2021, where we met at one of our favorite events . The real collaboration kicked off last year when Adam started putting our frames and carbon wheelsets to the ultimate stress tests on the gravel circuit in Ontario and beyond. Adam has been a vital part of our product imporvement feedback loop, providing real-world performance input straight from the sharp end of the endurance peloton. Last year, Adam not only rode his Kopis in local gravel sufferfests but also took it to Gravel Worlds!

This year Adam will be riding a fresh Kopis build rolling on the latest version of our gravel racing carbon hoops with the 32mm inner width. Think of Adam as our unofficial Head of Product Testing; if our gear can survive his legs in the heat of a gravel race breakaway, we know it can handle anything you throw at it.

While we prefer going to bike races than trade shows, bike racing season hasn't started yet and the folks behind know how to put on a great bike show. 

Last weekend we we participated in the 2026 edition of the Gatineau-Ottawa bike show amongst a good turnout of cycling lovers and an assemblage of other Canadian cycling brands. 

Now we have a long list of custom bike builds to get through before Real Spring arrives (as opposed to the Fool's Spring we're currently experiencing). 

P.S. We had some great deals on the apparel collection at the show and that set stock levels on certain items to an all time low. If you were planning on treating yourself to some fresh kit (hint hint: the 3-season bibs are perfect for March/April weather!) do it now as it will be a bit before we restock.

Pick the Kopis if:
