🏏 Cricket Canada – Umpire Certification Examination 2026

The Umpire Certification Examination 2026 was successfully conducted on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in 📍 Montreal, Quebec, through a collaborative effort between the Quebec and cricket communities.

The examination was led by Mr. Rohan Shah, Committee Member of the Cricket Canada National Committee for Umpires and Umpire Trainer/Examiner for & Eastern .

This initiative reflects the continued commitment toward developing high-quality officiating standards strengthening the future of cricket across the region.

🏏ICC - International Cricket Council 𝐔𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥-𝟏 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 – #𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 #𝐎𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐰𝐚 ✨

For the 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐰𝐚, the Ottawa Valley Cricket Umpires Association - OVCUA, in collaboration with the Ottawa Valley Cricket Council and Cricket Canada, proudly hosted the 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 for the ICC Umpire Level-1 Course on 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓–𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓! 🌟

Participants underwent two days of hands-on, practical training under the direction of 𝐈𝐂𝐂 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥-𝟏 𝐔𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡.

This session also marked a special milestone as 𝐌𝐫. 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐰𝐚 𝐁𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐡 conducted his𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐂𝐂 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥-𝟏 𝐓𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫, contributing valuable instruction and leadership throughout the program. 👏

🏏 The Ottawa Valley Cricket Umpires Association - OVCUA held its Post-Season Meeting 2025 on November 6, 2025, at UCMAS, 2618 St. Joseph Blvd, , ON K1C 1G3.

It was a great evening where we reviewed the season, shared valuable feedback, discussed future plans, and connected with fellow umpires 🤝.

💬 These kinds of gatherings help strengthen our umpiring community and prepare us for an even better season ahead!
