Jake will be away for work from March 28th to April 4th. He won’t be available for skate sharpening during that time.

If you need a sharpen, please book in before Saturday to make sure you’re set.

He will be back and available again starting April 5th.

We wanted to share an important update with our Clarke Crew community.

For the first time since starting Clarke Crew Skate Sharpening in 2020, we will be making a small price adjustment to help offset rising costs and continue delivering consistent, high-quality sharpenings.

Effective January 15th:
⛸️ $8 per pair
⛸️ $60 for a 10-pair sharpening pass

We are incredibly grateful for the support, loyalty, and trust you continue to show us. Supporting local families and athletes is at the heart of what we do, and we look forward to many more seasons on the ice together.

Winterlude 2025 Join us for Winterlude, the annual winter festival in Ottawa-Gatineau. It offers fun activities such as watching live ice-carving and admiring beautiful ice sculptures, skating on the world's largest skating rink and snow tubing in North America's largest snow playground.

Support a Local School Skating Program!

Barrhaven Public School has started an amazing skating program, bringing kids skating, many for the very first time!

To make this program accessible to all, they’re collecting gently used skates for students who don’t have their own.

Sizes most needed: 2-5 youth/adult (if you have others, we can gather those as well).

If you have any skates to donate, you can drop them off, and we’ll make sure they get to the local teacher here in Findlay Creek to distribute to the school.

Let’s come together to make this program a success! Thank you for your generosity!

BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE! Last night’s cold and our team’s hard work worked in our favor. We will be able to open an extra 0.4 km section of the Rideau Canal Skateway on Saturday, Jan 11th! Join us between the *Laurier St.* Bridge and Bank St. tomorrow at 8 am.

Great news! Looks like a portion of the Rideau Canal Skateway will be opening this weekend. Reach out to get your skates sharpened so you are ready to go!

SHARPEN YOUR SKATES! 🙌🎉 Saturday is THE day! We’re putting the final touches on the ice, and a 3.6 km section of the #RideauCanal Skateway between Somerset and Bank will open at 8:00 am on Saturday, January 11th.
