29 May 2029 - International Day of Peacekeepers. I did my UN tour in Sudan (2006).

Looks like I am going to be in the "Spotlight #26" at Nijmegen Walk 2026, of the 47 000 walkers. Not sure how that happened. I am glad I checked this link or I would have never know..😆. 😲.

It will be a chance to promote the idea of "Canada Veteran Walkers" for 2026. I am glad I finally got the Canada Veteran Walker crest for 2026 !!

Canada Veteran - Trademarked Approved Logo Design meaning:

The official Canada Veteran emblem shall consist of:

1. Black shield background symbolizing strength and resilience;
2. Gold border representing honour and excellence;
3. Red “CANADA” and “VETERAN” lettering representing sacrifice and national pride;
4. Central gold “V” identifying veteran service;
5. Red maple leaf representing Canada and national unity;
6. Green laurel branches representing victory, remembrance, peace, and continued service.

Nijmegen Walk - Groesbeek Cemetary - Day 3 of walk, goes right by the cemetary. I always stop and pay respects to the over 2300 Canadian military personnel(WW II), who are buried at this cemetary.
