Always proud of our guy Jake Geauvreau! He’s stepped in against the specialized boogiemen of the division - first Hakeem the Striker, and now Nic the submission ace. This past fight camp was very difficult, with a few physical road blocks that seriously affected the preparation. It’s unfortunate we couldn’t show up at 100%, but that’s the game sometimes.
Jake’s opponent was very well prepared and has been filling in a lot of holes in his game since the last time we cornered against him. It was a good fight, with back and forth and good moments for both. So proud of our guy Jake for taking good positions and never once quitting on himself. In the end the pressure fight and edge in physical conditioning crowded Jakey G’s elusiveness and speed and Nic was awarded the decision.
Back to the drawing board to regroup, restrategize and return to the Win column our next time out.

Still only 25. Jake will be champion soon!
