Team gets it done at the first round of the at this past weekend!

Right from the first practice on Friday, Mike de la Plante and Alex Gutknecht in the TNT Tornado factory team karts in the Senior class were showing off the new 2022 TNT Tornado Hybrid’s were showing qualifying pace right out of the box.

In the finals, the sky’s opened and the rain came down hard. Mike de la Plante drove a flawless race in the pouring rain In the final and finished on the podium with a 2nd place! Alex Gutknecht started the finals in 15th after a pushback bumper penalty. This didn’t deter him in the least. Alex pushed hard and worked his way through to finish 6th.

In the Briggs and Stratton Masters class TNT Tornado Hybrid driver K.R. Bissonette drove an impressive rain race with a last lap pass for the WIN!
Daniel Courtemanche also had an impressive drive in the rain from starting 13th to finish 4th.

The TNT factory team drivers are prepared and feeling strong heading into round #2 of the Coupe de Montreal race next week at SC Performance Karting.

Coupe de Montréal Briggs Sr championship podium!

Jamie MacArthur had a strong weekend, winning the pre-final and finishing 2nd in the final, and K.R. Bissonette takes 3rd after a strong drive from a 10th place start!

Coming off of two top 3 qualifying positions, a win, and six top 10 finishes in Masters at rounds 3 and 4 at , and three solid top 10 finishes at round 4 at two weeks ago, team will be taking on the biggest Karting event of the year in Canada; the nationals at this week in the Senior and Master classes with Alex Gutknecht, Mike de la Plante, and Canadian national champions Jamie MacArthur and Darren Kearnan 🏁
