I’m not sure who needs to hear this today, but I sure do. This is my first black belt I received in 2009. The hanzi on it can be loosely translated as “In enduring grow strong”, a saying that got me through hard times navigating through adolescence and early adulthood. I feel this is a good reminder for us given the circumstances.

So what exactly is the difference between a inner fire martial arts little ninja and a junior?
Our Junior classes cater to kids between the ages of 7-9. Where the Little Ninja classes lean a bit more on early childhood development, the juniors are now learning full-blown martial arts! A junior can expect to learn skills like striking, kicking, shoulder rolling, beginner acrobatics and self defence techniques.
Combined with physical training, we include coach’s corners where we share stories and dialogue that cover concepts like overcoming distractions, hope to find confidence and bully management techniques. We also throw in some games to keep everyone entertained and engaged!
Junior classes are offered at the Glebe community center Mondays and Wednesdays starting September 26 and the Jack Purcell community center Saturdays starting September 17! DM for more details!
