A standout start at Vermont for SHIFT athlete Jacob Oster!

Jacob earned Hockey East Player of the Week honours before being named Vermont’s TD Student-Athlete of the Week following his first two collegiate starts.

He recorded 56 saves, a .949 save percentage and a 1.49 GAA against ranked Boston University, helping the Catamounts earn four league points.

Congratulations to SHIFT athlete and coach Matthias on earning his first win with the Ottawa Junior Canadians, stopping 23 of 25 shots for a .920 save percentage.

1st Star — Mason McTavish
A big performance back in his hometown! Macktee recorded 2 goals, 1 assist and 6 shots in the Blues’ 7–2 win over Ottawa. Mase extends his point streak to 6 games, with 4 goals and 4 assists over that stretch!

2nd Star — Morgan Chevrier
Back-to-back shutouts for Mo! Morgan stood tall for the CP Cyclones U18 AA squad this weekend, making timely saves and keeping the door shut in both games!

3rd Star — Jacob Cloutier
Tik keeps rolling! With 3 goals and 6 assists for 9 points, Jacob has opened the 2026–27 season on a 9-game point streak with the Saginaw Spirit!

SHIFT athlete Jacob Cloutier joins the 100-point club!

The Ottawa native reached 100 career OHL points with the Saginaw Spirit, recording 47 goals and 53 assists in 140 games.

“Carl” made 35 saves in a big 4–0 win for the Carleton Place Jr. Canadians over the Ottawa West Golden Knights last week.

1st Star — Jordan Laroda
Laroda earns SHIFT’s first star after collecting three goals and two assists across two games in CCHL action, helping the Renfrew Wolves go 2–0 on the weekend and move into third place.

2nd Star — Jack Fergie
Fergie earns SHIFT’s second star after posting a .930 save percentage and a 2.50 goals against average with a 1–1 record in CCHL action. His week included a Sunday night shutout against the Cornwall Colts at the Pembroke Memorial Centre.

3rd Star — Athan Stone
Stoney of the Wi******er Hawks earns SHIFT’s third star after a perfect 2–0 weekend in EOJHL action, recording a 2.00 goals against average and a .945 save percentage.
