It has taken a few days to absorb this news. The man I learned so much from about navigating politics and Hill life, who was the bad cop to my good cop when needed (Hill staffers…. You know what I mean 😅), who taught me an incredible amount about managing an office, and had my back regardless of how crazy my ideas were. We had many great chats and debates over the years in the office and on the baseball field.

Thank you for the years old pal. You will be missed more than you know. You have an army looking out for Caleb and Olivia.

What an incredible few days in Ottawa this past week. Between the Outdoors Symposium, their wild game garden party at Stornoway, social at George Daoust’s house, meetings on Parliament Hill with various Members of Parliament, the Day at the Range, our first in person meeting of the , finishing off with the Committee and SCIF Canada Board of Directors meetings. Seeing old friends and meeting new ones. I love my job, and I love standing up for our hunting heritage in Canada
