While we’re away, we’re spending time with fam, teaching our Southern students, and working on our Fall stuff! See you next month at a class, or at our next big event with Mariana Dragone!

Over the past century or so, Argentine Tango has unfortunately refused to become a mere skill you can learn in a once-a-week, 60-minute class.

So at Siempre Tango Ottawa, your learning doesn’t stop when class ends.

Our Beginner Program offers classes AND prácticas as part of a comprehensive path to learning Argentine Tango. In classes, you learn skills: connection, technique, musicality, improvisation, navigation, and vocabulary. In group practice sessions, where teachers are there to help, you get time and space to actually use them with partners of all levels.

Try things. Mess up. Do it again. Improve a bit. Ask questions. Dance with different people. Be confused. Have an ah-ha moment. Every week!

If you want a super-charged path to tango, we offer Beginner Plus - a weekly class, a weekly práctica, a weekly tango technique lab, and a private lesson with head teacher Jewel.

When you have regular opportunities to dance several times a week, with experienced teachers to help you, you'll get better at tango, without a doubt. We're proud to be able to offer that at our new studio at 101A Main Street, starting this September.

There's no Sunday Práctica on August 2, and no Monday classes on August 3. Long weekend!

Make plans to join us next weekend, however, as we'll have our friend Pancho visiting from Montreal for workshops and private lessons.
