Update from Ottawa Police Service
We want to express our gratitude to the Ottawa Police Service Hate and Bias Crime Unit for their swift action following a series of hateful incidents in December. A 34-year-old individual has been charged after spray-painting antisemitic symbols and messages. Thank you, , for your commitment to combating hate.

Security update
As you may have learned, yesterday on Shabbat, RCMP announced they had arrested and charged a young Ottawa person for terrorism-related offences under the Criminal Code. One of the charges is specifically related to intended terrorist activity against the Jewish community. Police have confirmed that there is no risk to persons or property related to this individual, as he is now in police custody. Read more: https://conta.cc/3tsdlZB

Birthright Israel Toronto is really excited to offer our Birthright Israel Accessibility program this coming December "Israel All Together"! The trip departing from Toronto on December 25th-January 4th is open to all neurodivergent individuals with lower support needs. Knowing how impactful and incredible this program has been, we are looking forward to another amazing trip with participants from across the country.
