Hi skaters. With the cold weather today, the crew will close the oval during the morning to flood and repair. We will be back up and running by around lunchtime Tues.

Come try speed skating!

The Ottawa Pacers and Gloucester Concordes Speed Skating Clubs are hosting a Try Speed Skating event from 10am-4pm on Saturday Feb 14th. Come out for a fun family skate at the Brewer Park Oval! Bring your own skates and/or try speed skates. Speed skates will be available to borrow during the event (sizes subject to availability). All ages and abilities are welcome. This is a FREE event!

Les clubs de patinage de vitesse Ottawa Pacers et Gloucester Concordes vous invitent à une initiation au patinage de vitesse le samedi 14 février, de 10 h à 16 h. Venez patiner en famille sur la patinoire de Brewer Park ! Apportez vos patins et/ou essayez des patins de vitesse. Des patins seront disponibles à la location (sous réserve de disponibilité des pointures). Tous les âges et tous les niveaux sont les bienvenus. Cet événement est gratuit !

Join us this weekend at the Brewer Park Oval for the Ontario Long-Track Provincial Championships! Come cheer on the Pacers!

Heads up that the provincial speed skating championships will take place at the oval this coming weekend, Jan 31-Feb 1. The oval will be unavailable to recreational skaters both days between 6a.m. to 6p.m. In preparation, the track surveyors will be on-site Wed Jan 28; access to the oval will be limited between 8a.m. to 2p.m.
