Ottawa Swans Australian Football Club The Ottawa Swans are an Australian rules football club based in Ottawa, Canada.

We have both a mens and womens team that compete in the Ontario league, one of the biggest leagues outside of Australia The club is notable as being the first and currently only Australian rules football club to represent the city of Ottawa. To this day, the club continues to compete in the Ontario Australian Football League in both the Men's and Women's Division 1 competitions. HISTORY
Founded in 2006, the Ottawa Swans Australian Football Club played 3 exhibition games in 2007 before becoming a full registered, competitive club in 2008. It entered the Ontario Australian Football League as a member team in 2008, playing home games on a pitch built in the infield of the Rideau Carleton Raceway in Ottawa's south end. The inaugural team of the Ottawa Swans Australian Football Club was led on the field by Captain Steve Spurrell and coached by Richard Keane, who both served as player/coaches.

The road gets tougher. We keep going.
The Ottawa Swans have taken down the Eagles and punched our ticket to the Preliminary Final. đź’Ş
Another week. Another battle. Another opportunity.
This season hasn’t been handed to us — it’s been earned. Through the wins, the setbacks, the long road and everything in between, this group has stuck together.
To our players, coaches, volunteers, families, alumni and supporters — thank you for riding with us. The ones who show up. The ones who back us. The ones who never stop believing in this club.
Now there’s one more hurdle.
🦢 One club. One goal. One more week.

The Ottawa Swans Women’s+ team have made it thru to the Grand Final for a third year in a row! They will take on the mighty in Toronto on September 26th with a time TBD.

Finals football is built on the people who stick with you through the hard road.

A huge thank you to our alumni, supporters, families, volunteers and everyone who has continued to back the Swans through the highs, the lows, the wins, the losses and everything in between.

Loyalty means a lot to us — especially when the road gets tough.

One more game. One more push. 🦢
