Just a reminder to everyone Uplands Aikido, Koshinkan Dojo will not have any classes Good Friday, 3 April or Easter Sunday, 5 April. Enjoy your weekend with family and friends. Classes will resume Tuesday, 7 April.

Mark your calendar everyone. Classes resume this Sunday, 22 March, regular times. The Staff and I hope everyone had a great March break and are eager to return to the mats to train again.

It was a pleasure and an honor to have a couple of unexpected Sensei's visit Koshinkan Dojo on Tuesday.

Unfortunately we have decided to cancel tonight's class due to the forecasted snowfall. We want everyone to keep safe so our next classes will not be until Tuesday, 17 February. In the meantime practice your Kamai's and basic moves when you can while at home over this short break and enjoy the Family Day weekend.

There will be no classes this Friday, 13 Feb., or Sunday, 15 Feb as it is Family day Weekend. We will resume training Tuesday, 17 Feb. Thank everyone for your understanding and support. We look forward to seeing you on the mats.

A special thank you to Buseikan dojo for not only having our Sensei Jim Murray, but also Sensei Pat Murray and Sensei Jake Hutter coming to train, grade, and uke for us. Thanks to Koshinkan’s senior instructor Sensei Danny Ervin for organizing and hosting.

Thank you to our visitors who trained and watched the grading, and our students who opened their minds and learned some fun stuff this weekend. And the community who came to watch, help out, and support.

We have a nice basket of food and a cash donation going to the Ottawa food bank too.
