Good news! With the easing of COVID restrictions HMCS BYTOWN will open at its interim location on the 3rd Floor, 4 Queen Elizabeth Driveway.

Starting today the Mess will be open:

Wednesday – Friday, 1100 – 1700, with chowder available on Fridays at lunch (Please register with [email protected]). There will be no food available on Wednesdays and Thursdays but feel free to bring a lunch or order in.

Other uniformed, non-navy members are also invited to the Mess, however non-uniformed guests are limited to one per member.

There is limited parking around front (facing canal) and side between the building and Lisgar HS marked RCJRM #1165.

Bonnes nouvelles ! Avec l'assouplissement des restrictions liées à la COVID, le NCSM BYTOWN ouvrira ses portes à son emplacement provisoire au 3e étage, 4 Queen Elizabeth Driveway.

A partir d'aujourd'hui le Mess sera ouvert :

Du mercredi au vendredi, de 1100 à 1700, avec chaudrée disponible le vendredi midi (Veuillez vous inscrire auprès de [email protected]). Il n'y aura pas de nourriture disponible les mercredis et jeudis, mais n'hésitez pas à apporter un déjeuner ou à commander.

D'autres membres en uniforme qui ne font pas partie de la marine sont également invités au mess, mais les invités sans uniforme sont limités à raison d'un par membre.

Il y a un nombre limité de places de stationnement autour de l'avant (face au canal) et sur le côté entre le bâtiment et Lisgar HS marqué RCJRM # 1165.

Espérons vous y voir ! 🍻

Back by popular demand is the Children’s Virtual Christmas Party. We are happy to announce that Santa has confirmed that he will be back this year to talk to all the children who want to meet him. Kids will be able to talk to jolly St. Nick via Zoom. There will be presents bought by the Mess for every child who will be taking part in this event. 🤶🎅☃️🎁

À la demande générale, la fête virtuel de Noël des enfants est de retour. Nous sommes heureux d'annoncer que le Père Noël a confirmé qu'il sera de retour cette année pour parler à tous les enfants qui souhaitent le rencontrer. As most of you know, the Mess’ building on Lisgar is closed but a new location has been found. We will be located on the 3rd Floor of 4 Queen Elizabeth Drive (where our Mess Staff currently work and where you have been picking up items related to the various events). The 3rd Floor is part of the Junior Ranks Mess. The PMC of the Junior Ranks Mess was very supportive of our being able to use this underutilized space.
We are working to get our effects into this new interim location.
We look forward to seeing you all at the Wardroom soon (the date will be promulgated soon).

Comme la plupart d'entre vous le savent, le bâtiment du mess sur Lisgar est fermé, mais un nouvel emplacement a été trouvé. nous serons situés au troisième étage de l’immeuble au 4 Promenade de la Reine Elizabeth (où justement notre Staff travaille depuis que notre ancien immeuble fut condamné). Le troisième étage fait partie du Mess des Caporaux et Soldats et c’est grâce à la bonne volonté de leur PMC, en biais avec les PSP, que nous sommes si gracieusement invités à nous y installer temporairement.
Présentement nous œuvrons à transférer nos effectifs dans le nouveau site intérimaire.
Au plaisir de tous vous revoir au Carré des officiers à une date qui sera promulguée sous peu.

Hylands Golf Club and PSP are excited to welcome back golfers for second year of the Intramural Golf League. This ten-week league, an exclusive for CAF members, will begin on 9 August, with two sorting rounds and eight weeks of competition play. Tee-off times will be scheduled between 1400 and 1600. However, depending on demand, may be earlier than 1400 or later than 1600. Registration and more information can be found here. This program is being offered to CAF members for $140 per person. If you are already a Hylands Golf Club Member, the cost has been reduced to $80 per
person. Spaces in this league are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis.

Le Club de Golf de Hylands et PSP sont ravis d& #39;accueillir les golfeurs pour la seconde année de la ligue de golf Intramuros. Cette ligue de dix semaines, une exclusivité pour les membres des FAC, débutera le 9 août, avec deux rondes de placement et huit semaines de compétition. Les heures de départ seront entre 14 h et 16 h chaque semaine. Toutefois, en fonction de la demande, il se pourrait que le départ soit programmé avant 14 h ou après 16 h.

Si vous êtes déjà un membre du club de Golf de Hylands, le tarif réduit de 80$ par personne s‘applique.
