Ottawa Archers

10/08/2026

Our second double 720 target tournament of the year took place on August 7. The forecast was for rain ... and rain it did, in buckets! With 15 archers registered we expected a few last-minute cancellations. Surprisingly, 14 archers showed up, ready to go, including our longtime friends from Malone, New York. The first end took place in driving rain. Everyone was soaked, but as the day progressed the weather gradually improved, and by the late afternoon the sun was shining and most things dried off. All-in-all a good time was had by all. A successful event. Member Reem Mabrouk was very surprised when she scored with a "Robin Hood". See the photo...

🎯 Last official Tuesday night scoring round of 2026 at Ottawa Archers!

It’s the final Tuesday for our members taking part in the 2026 Canadian Outdoor Mail Match. We had a great turnout this year, and there are still a few close races that need to be decided.

The official results will be posted at Archery Canada to determine who takes home the hardware. Ottawa Archers will be awarding medals to its members at our next Annual General Meeting.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated, and helped make this such a successful summer. Your enthusiasm and commitment are what make our club such a great place to shoot !

Good luck to everyone still in the running, and congratulations to all who took part!

Another great day of giving back to the Ottawa Archers!

Several weeks ago, we set aside a day for our members to come out and help with some much-needed repair work on our permanent 3D targets.

We had a good turnout. We were able to bring 8 targets back to life with fresh foam, new paint, and scoring rings. They’re looking great and are ready for many more practice rounds.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out. Your time and effort are truly appreciated.

It’s this kind of willingness to pitch in that makes the Ottawa Archers such a great archery club.
