MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The 4th annual Glebe Mile will happen on Saturday evening June 17th at Glebe Collegiate! Registration opens soon!

The 2022 Glebe Mile.

The inspiration behind this race is 1) to get new runners who may not yet be ready for 5k+ distances yet and 2) the get experienced runners to try to push themselves over the shorter distances. The mile doesn’t get enough praise in the running world where quantity is often encourage over quality. Trust me running a hard fast mile is no easier than running a marathon!

Being on a gravel track we also trying to go back to the grassroots of running and racing. Running should be simple. Racing should be fun!

All this while trying to support our local elite runners and local charities!

The 2022 race has come and gone. We are already excited for 2023! Stay tuned for details!

6 local elite runner toed the line last night in an Elimination Mile aka Devil Take the Hindmost.

It’s an entertaining twist to a classic 1 mile track race where the last place runner after each lap gets eliminated (😈 takes them). It makes for quite a show!

Congrats Andre Alie-Lamarche on winning, Lucas Zanetti on second and Nico Pedersen on third!

A few local elite runners will be battling it out in an Elimination Mile tomorrow evening at 6:45pm at Glebe High School!

It’s gonna be 🔥 🔥 🔥 - winner will be crowned the 2022 Glebe Mile Champion!

There will be race day registration starting at 5:30pm for those who still wish to participate and support the .garderiviere

All abilities welcome!

Festivities will begin at 6pm with a FREE kids 400m run.

There will be good music and a BBQ to raise funds.
