Established in 1970 the Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club offers opportunities to its members and residents of the City of Ottawa to participate in organized soccer activities. From its youngest to its oldest member the Club offers all forms of soccer including: youth development programs, recreational leagues, youth and adult competitive and elite competitive programs. The Club has an impressive record of developing some of the best players in eastern Ontario with many members who played or currently are playing on university, college, provincial and national teams. The successes of the current and graduate members of the Club are a testament to achievement of its fundamental focus on player and coach development. The Club is led by Club Head Coach Boris Bajagic, National A licensed coach with support from the Club's technical staff coaches that iinclude; Duane Barker, National B licensed coach; Adam Knight, National B licensed coach; Kingsley Knight, National B licensed coach.

Assessments are open to:
- New players interested in joining the Hotspurs
- Current Hotspurs Recreational players

🚨🚨HUGE NEWS HOTSPURS COMMUNITY🚨🚨

We have secured our OFFICIAL RedBlacks Club Day!!

Join us on September 26th, 2026 at 3:00pm at TD Place!

We have tons of game-day experiences available:

1. Canadian Flag Experience
- Our teams go out during the anthem and announcements to hold the large ceremonial flag.

2. Full hour time on the field for soccer games
- One hour before kickoff, our teams will have one hour of field time inside the stadium while the crowd shuffles in.

3. Mini games
- Between ceremonial anthem and kickoff, our teams will have between 8-10 minutes for a mini-match while the stands are full with fans

Please reach out to your team managers if you are interested in any Game-Day activities, or if your team/family would like to purchase group tickets!!

Give your young player the chance to learn, grow, and have fun on the pitch with our Fall Recreational Program! ❤️💙

Designed for players ages 3–16, the Let the Kids Play program focuses on skill development, confidence, teamwork, and—most importantly—having FUN! 🙌

📅 Saturdays: August 29 – October 3

How lucky are we to have a community like this?❤️

Hotspurs Day 2026 was one to remember. We could not have done it without the incredible support of our Hotspurs Community❤️

A HUGE thank you to Circle K Canada for helping make our recreational Festival possible, and for supporting our amazing club and players.

Thank you as well to our phenomenal partners , The Proving Grounds Gym , PUMA , and Myticas Consulting for helping bring the day to life and continuing to support Nepean Hotspurs.

Another thank you to Atlético Ottawa for sending out their mascot Wally! Our players absolutely loved having him on our pitch!🦖

And of course, a massive thank you to all of our volunteers and dunk tank coaches who gave their time, energy, and enthusiasm to make the day such a success. We appreciate every single one of you.

Most importantly, thank you to our Hotspurs players, families, coaches and community for showing up and making the day so much fun❤️🖤

Designed for our youngest players and their grown-ups, this fun, introductory program is all about getting little feet moving, building confidence and falling in love with the beautiful game⚽️🐣

Our program runs:
August 29th - October 3rd
