Elevating dance through movement, attitude, musicality, and connection

04/23/2026

Beyond the Beat

Same song. Different timing, different feel.

If you always dance the same way to every song and feel like you’ve hit a plateau in your dance journey, this is for you.

In this workshop, we’ll explore how different timings exist across genres – and how you can take them from one dance and apply them to another.

For dancers ready to challenge their ear and break the habit.

Transform how you connect music, movement, and culture – and how you dance✨️

Beat. Tempo. Rhythm. Timing. Texture. Musicality.
These are words dancers hear all the time,
but they’re often used interchangeably or incorrectly.

Regardless of which genre you dance,
understanding them changes how you listen,
and how you dance.

The Mambo section is where bachata explodes.
The vocals drop, the lead guitar takes over, and the whole energy lifts.

Hear it?
Feel it!
