Maybe you’ve watched curling and thought, “That looks like fun… but I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing.” Perfect. That’s exactly who Learn to Curl is for! 😄

The Metcalfe Curling Club’s Learn to Curl is coming this October — a fun, friendly, no-pressure week where you’ll learn the basics, get comfortable on the ice and discover why people get completely hooked on this game.

📅 Monday, October 19 – Friday, October 23
⏰ 7:00–9:00 PM — please arrive by 6:45 PM
💰 $200 — and if you decide to join the club afterwards, your $200 is applied toward your membership!
With just 24 spots available, Learn to Curl is a small-group experience — so if you’ve been thinking about giving curling a try, this is a great opportunity to do it! 🥌

No experience? That’s the whole point. Come on your own, grab your spouse, convince a friend or round up a few people and learn together. You’ll meet some great people, have plenty of laughs and find out why curling is about so much more than throwing rocks down a sheet of ice.

Our season gets underway right after the Metcalfe Fair, so this is a fantastic way to try curling, learn the game and maybe find your new favourite winter pastime.

Miss the Early Bird deadline? **No worries at all!** Registration stays open right up until we start curling in **October, just after the Metcalfe Fair**.

Curling is such a fun way to **meet new people, enjoy a few laughs, get out of the house and get some exercise**. And trust me — when you’re doing it right, there’s *just enough cardio* to remind you that curling really IS a sport! 😂🥌

Whether you’re an experienced curler, haven’t played in years, or are thinking about trying it for the very first time, **there’s a place for you at the Metcalfe Curling Club.**

And how cool is this? **Our club is 101 years old and going strong!** ❤️ We’re incredibly proud of our history, but what keeps this club thriving is the people who walk through our doors, step onto the ice and become part of our curling community.

If you still have one from previous years, please take a minute to pop it back out on your lawn and help us let the community know that curling season is almost here!
