🎉 DEVELOPMENT SHOW SEASON is Almost Here! 🐎

We’re one week away from kicking off an exciting season and we’ve got something for everyone!

✨ EDUCATIONAL • FUN • AFFORDABLE ✨
Good news: entry fees and stabling costs remain the same as 2025 to keep our shows accessible for all riders.
Enter by Monday night (Apr 27) to avoid late fees.

Learn to Fall Clinic – Here’s How the Day Flows!

Our 9:00 AM session kicks off with a strong foundation and builds confidence step by step.

🕘 First Session: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• We begin with a discussion about falling — why it happens and what we’re trying to accomplish
• Learn and practice proper rolling technique
• Move onto the practice horse
• Around 10:30 AM (group dependent), we transition to real horses
• We finish the morning session strong on real horses 💪🐎

🍴 Lunch Break: 12:30 – 1:00 PM

🕐 Second Session: 1:00 – 4:30 PM
Same structured progression — confidence, technique, and real-horse application.

This clinic is all about building safe, confident riders who know how to protect themselves and recover calmly.

Celebrate spring! 🐰🐥
We're inviting friends, neighbours, landowners, cappers, hunter pace attendees, etc. to join our members for a fun Easter Party at our clubhouse (8935 Abb Road) on Thursday, April 2. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Bring a dish to share. This is another great opportunity to mix and mingle and ask OVH members questions about riding to hounds and hunter paces.

Lilac Lane Equestrian Centre and the PureLab Equine Team celebrated the end of an incredible season with some exceptional results in all the lands

Hisani Eve and Emma Askew taking home champion in the .75 this weekend after finishing 1st overall in the .75 equitation for the season. May have been a little emotional watching my precious Boobaloo back in the jumper ring this year. So proud of this duo and a huge thank you to Emma for taking such good care of my girl while I’ve been focused on my tiny human ❤️

Tinkerbell and Amanda reserve champion in the 2’ training hunter at their second sanctioned show together, as well as dabbling in a new ring taking 1st and 5th in the .65 open jumper. This team has been such a pleasure to coach from a green bean, to the Westar development series to stepping up to OVPSC at the end of this season. There are great things to come for these two ❤️

Eli and Leigh Delle Palme riding in the Eastern Canadian Eventing Championships. Rocking it this weekend in 3 rings with this talented boy, taking 5th overall to end her season. I am in awe of this woman and all she has accomplished. 💕

Thank you to our village Russel Equine Jenn Hodge Adams, Chris Boland, Brianna Smith, Shelby, Elisah Bennett and Bryenah Bennett, Paul Downard, Laura Delage, Thea, Alexia, Wren and all our wonderful barn family for your endless support.
All the love to my incredible husband Gavin Payette for making this season possible and giving my life balance. So grateful to you for making sure I had the opportunity to lead our team and snuggle our beautiful boy. Colton James you are the best horse show baby ever.
