JUST FOR KICKS Special Needs Soccer is 15 years old this season! Come join us for the best birthday party in town!

2026 PROGRAM DETAILS:

WHEN: Thursdays from 6:30pm-7:30pm from July 2nd until August 20th
WHERE: Trend Arlington Field West (50 Bellman Drive, Nepean, ON)

JFK Funfest, Exhibition Game, and Medals will take place on the same field at our regular time on August 20th.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the medical needs and sensitivities of our players, we do NOT play in the rain.

Hello JFK community.

One of our volunteers works closely with a pediatric therapy clinic that offers continuing education for other therapists.

They are looking for a handful of kiddos to join them at the Creating Connections: Intro to NDT and Dynamic Core course here in Ottawa with Shelley Mannell, Physiotherapist and educator!

Reach out if you have a little one who is working on support for core stability, Torticollis, lip/ tongue tie, is neurologically involved or has developmental concerns. They'd love you to join a practicum model to assist their dynamic education for local therapists.

* Approx 1 hour October 3 & 4.

* Reach out if you have a little one that you love to be a part of this experience. Or if you have a family member that you think might be interested in participating.

Coach Joanne runs a program called Around the Campfire.

Around the Campfire is a program for youths with special needs run by parents, friends and support workers of those with
special needs.

If your child enjoys music, cooperative games and stories, Around the Campfire could be a great option for you.

We are also looking for volunteers.

August 14, 2025 was another great practice. We are grateful for all the volunteers and players that come out every week.

Last night, August 7, was another great practice. The storm was just a few blocks away, but we stayed dry at JFK.

Sorry for the late post. The JFK Social Media Manager was away on vacation! By all accounts, the practice on July 31 was a huge success. Thank you to all the volunteers that participated.
