We had a great last day of the season with a fun D practice, C game vs Cumberland and B A vs the coaches. An amazing season for all the Bandits!

Ottawa Bandits Special hockey had some great games over the weekend. Thanks to Cumberland Grads U14 and Nepean Raiders U18B for taking the time to come and play. Great kids on both teams!

What an amazing opening day for the 2024/25 Ottawa Bandits Special Hockey team. We were so fortunate to receive an incredibly generous equipment donation from the NHLPA Goals and Dreams program that our families were able to enjoy. What a gift!!

The Ottawa Bandits were extremely honoured to be the recipients of the NHLPA Goals and Dreams fund. We were treated to amazing visit from Ottawa Senators players Brady Tkachuk, Mathieu Joseph, Zack MacEwen and Anton Forsberg. The NHLPA has gifted us 25 sets of hockey gear in addition to Hyundai Canada’s incredible $15,000.00 donation to the program. We will continue to strive every week to achieve our mission of “Hockey Friendship and Inclusion” and these awesome donations will help us for years to come. Thank you NHLPA and Hyundai Canada from all the Bandits players and families.

The Players' charitable initiative is designed to assist grassroots hockey programs who are helping deserving youth play the game of hockey. Qualified programs receive complete sets of brand new hockey equipment from the NHLPA Goals & Dreams fund, to be distributed to deserving youth in their community.

For more than 20 years, NHLPA members have been donating equipment to programs in their NHL cities and hometowns around the world. More the 80,000 children have been provided the opportunity to play the game of hockey in 34 countries. Over that time, the NHLPA Goals & Dreams fund has donated more than $25 million to help grow the game of hockey.

We were so pleased to host players from hockey adapté St-Jean today to play two amazing games. So much fun to share and learn from other hockey programs like ours. Looking forward to more hockey collaborations. 🥅 🏒

One of the foundational elements of our hockey program are the friendly games we play with community teams where we all learn the true meaning of friendship and inclusion. We want to Thank these local teams who played a friendly game with us in the first half of our season.
