Back by popular demand, is offering an expanded, two-part edition of her Frankenstein Couture Costume Workshop!

PART 1

Learn how to craft eye-catching, budget-friendly costumes by reusing and repurposing items you already own—or can easily thrift. We’ll explore how to source the right materials, engineer your costume for reveals and peels, create a cohesive overall look, and embellish everything from headpiece to shoes.

PART 2

Bring your concept—or a project you’re already working on—and receive personalized, round-table feedback from Gigi to help take it to the next level. She’ll also have several of her own costumes on hand for you to examine, ask questions about, and draw inspiration from.

“ We don’t have very many accessible dance spaces here in Ottawa unfortunately. I wanted to create a space where any / all abilities feel safer , appreciated and confident while learning burlesque. This class was cultivated to remind EVERYONE that Burlesque is for ALL BODIES and ABILI-TEASE!”

In this burlesque class , we will explore new choreo each week accompanied with a burlesque peel that will have 2+ variations. This will include a FULLY seated option , a sit to stand option along with some advanced movements and some low intensity movements as well. is always open to modifying EVEN MORE during class if needed! Burlesque is a vulnerable , beautiful and unique art form , everyone should feel comfortable , safe and confident in their body while learning and exploring it .
