Over the weekend one of the little goalies from our Goalie Power Skating session was feeling a bit demotivated with her spring hockey so her mom mentioned it to our coaching staff. At the end of the session she had a goalie chat with one of our coaches and her mom took these photos and shared it with the caption

“What I love about .ca coaches that care on and off the ice.”

Goaltending is one of the most challenging positions in all sports, it makes us question our abilities, it makes us dig deeper and push harder than we knew we could, just to give our team any possible chance to win..but with that, we need the proper support system and tools to be able to handle the constant pressures we face every game!

After she had a chat about all things goalie, we received a message from her mom saying she let in very few goals in one game and in the other game she got a SHUTOUT!!!

We are stronger than any challenges that come our way, we will have tough moments but we can always work through them and get back to having fun and we always play better when we remember to enjoy the game we love!
