Curious about Nordic backcountry skiing or looking to try a new setup? Join us for a BC Ski Demo Day at the Madawaska Nordic Ski and Recreation Trail Network in Calabogie.

We’ll have a full fleet of Salomon Nordic backcountry skis and boots available to test, including the Outside 100, Outside 82, Outside 65, and Outpath 65. Whether you’re new to backcountry touring or already exploring off-track terrain, this is a great opportunity to try different gear and experience the trails.

The demo will be set up at the Eagles Nest Parking Lot, which provides direct access to the Madawaska trail network. Come anytime during the day, chat with the team, and take a pair of skis out for a spin.

Behind the scenes, we’re especially grateful to our amazing Fresh Air Experience staff who worked tirelessly all week preparing and tuning hundreds of skis to help racers feel their best on course. Early mornings, late nights, and a lot of wax later — you made it happen.

And of course, none of this event exists without the incredible volunteers who give their time to make race weekend run smoothly. Your dedication is what makes events like this so special.

Our future Olympians battled it out this past weekend at the Canadian Eastern Championships — and the level of talent on display was nothing short of inspiring.

From powerful sprint finishes to tactical climbs, these athletes left it all on the course. The next generation of Canadian skiing is looking incredibly strong.

It was an absolute pleasure to support the event and capture all the action throughout the weekend. Huge thanks to for hosting such an incredible championship and creating an atmosphere that truly celebrates the sport.
