Bronze Medal Series Game 1: London Holy Rollers 8–5 Ottawa Capitals
⭐ Capitals Player of the Game: #81 Matt Lamberson

The Capitals generated plenty of offence in the opener, with Malaky Lamberson and Kellen Schleyer each scoring twice, but London’s attack proved too much as the Holy Rollers moved one win away from the bronze medal. 🏒⚡

With their tournament on the line, Ottawa delivered its most explosive performance of the weekend. Lukas Cheeseman scored four goals, Malaky Lamberson recorded three goals and five assists, and Atinc Erdin added a hat trick as the Capitals forced a deciding third game. 🚨💥

The Capitals carried that momentum into the finale, taking control behind three goals and two assists from Malaky, while Kellen and Lukas each added a goal and two assists. A determined defensive effort closed out the victory and secured the bronze medal on home court. 🏆👏

A pair of intense battles with the Calgary Flames defined Day 2 for the Ottawa Capitals. After completing the round robin in third place, Ottawa pushed Calgary to the limit in a dramatic semi-final rematch. 🔥🏒

Round Robin Game 4: Calgary Flames 3–1 Ottawa Capitals
⭐ Player of the Game: #7 Lukas Cheeseman

After falling behind 3–0, the Capitals rallied through the second and third periods. Malaky Lamberson brought Ottawa within two, and the team continued generating chances in a physical finish, but Calgary held on. The result placed Ottawa third overall and set up an afternoon semi-final rematch. 💪⚡

Playoff Semi-Final: Calgary Flames 2–1 Ottawa Capitals (Final - Shootout)
⭐ Player of the Game: #4 Brian Bertrand

Malaky opened the scoring early before Calgary tied the game in the second period. Overtime brought chances at both ends, but Brian Bertrand stole the show with several spectacular saves to keep Ottawa alive. The game remained tied 1–1 before Calgary prevailed in the shootout. 🧱🚨

Malaky finished the day with both Capitals goals, while Brian was outstanding throughout both games, repeatedly denying dangerous Calgary chances from Codey Petrone & co. ! 🥅👏

Ottawa now faces the London Holy Rollers in the bronze-medal series tomorrow at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, with a deciding third game at 4:00 PM if needed. Thank you to every fan and volunteer who brought the energy today. One more day. One more medal to fight for. 🥉📣

The Black Aces closed their tournament with another day full of determination, improvement, and outstanding sportsmanship. The results were difficult, but this group continued battling through every shift and represented Ottawa with pride. ♠️🏒

The Aces finished a promising first period down only 1–0. Toronto pulled away in the second, but Ottawa regrouped, never gave up, and held the Lake Raiders scoreless throughout the third period. 🛡️👏

⭐ Player of the Game: #50 Tammy Culhane

The Aces delivered their strongest overall performance of the weekend in the playoff qualifier. Cayson Savage scored twice, Kerry Burke recorded two assists, and Tammy Culhane saved her best game for last with several exceptional stops that kept Ottawa within reach. 🚨🧤

The loss brought the Black Aces’ tournament to an end with a fifth-place finish, but their growth across two days was clear. They competed hard, supported one another, and showed respect to every opponent from beginning to end. 🖤♠️

Trailing entering the third period against a strong Toronto squad, the Capitals responded with three unanswered goals to complete the comeback and secure a massive round-robin victory. That is championship-level composure when the pressure is at its highest. 💪⚡

Malaky Lamberson and Kellen Schleyer delivered standout offensive performances throughout the day, while Lukas Cheeseman made his presence felt with another strong all-around showing. From timely scoring to disciplined defence and relentless effort, the Capitals gave the hometown crowd plenty to celebrate. 🔴⚫
