According to the Canadian Cancer Society, on average, 89 women in Canada will be diagnosed with breast cancer every day, and breast cancer represents 13% of all cancer deaths in women in 2026.
As part of our efforts to continue raising awareness about the impact this devastating disease has on patients, their families, and the community that surrounds them, and in hopes of raising funds to support an invaluable medical institution in our city, the Nepean Raiders are organizing our annual PINK THE RINK game.
During our game this coming SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18th at 2:30 PM against the Ottawa Junior Senators, we have organized some special initiatives for the occasion, and we hope you join us in raising funds for this important cause.💗
🍪 There will be a bake sale open from 1 PM until the end of the game/all goods are sold. Don’t miss out on getting ahold of amazing treats all while contributing to such an important cause.
🎟️ There will be a silent auction open for two 100-level club seats to watch the Ottawa Senators face the Vancouver Canucks on March 14th. The highest bidder collects their prize at the end of the game.
🎗️All proceeds from the bake sale and the auction will go to the Rose Ages Breast Health Centre.
