2026 OPENING DAY

LAST DAY and BUCKET of the SEASON

We will be closing the range at On The Green Family Golf Center for the 2025 season on Sunday October 26th at 6PM.

It was wonderful to see the continued growth of the facility and the enthusiasm of families, co-workers, teams, and even some dates(!) all enjoy hitting balls at our facility.

We wish all of you a happy and healthy ‘off season’ where you can enjoy other activities and we’ll look forward to welcoming you back in the Spring 2026!

I want to thank my parents, Larry & Sheila, for taking care of the grounds at the facility…between rainstorms in the Spring and heatwaves thru the Summer it was not always ideal! Kudos to the range staff which included Justin, Kathryn, Kristina, Ilai along with special guest appearances this Fall from Dylann and Bob. And of course, Dayna Robinson, who seems to have to cover shifts occasionally in addition to doing her solo Sunday evening close…which is really supposed to be a shared shift with her husband 😬

Again, LAST BUCKET of the 2025 SEASON is OCTOBER 26th at 6PM….Dress Warm!!

STAFF MEMO!!

We’re rooting for our friend, student and staff member .hennigar as he travels Down Under to Australia to compete in the 2024 World Deaf Golf Championships.

He works hard at our facility and works hard to sharpen his golf skills in between (and occasionally, during 😂) shifts.

Justin is one of two staff members who are deaf/hearing impaired at On The Green Family Golf Center and we admire the perseverance, determination and grit they show in their everyday lives.

Have a wonderful time and enjoy the experience Justin…we’re rooting so loud it’ll be impossible not to hear us. 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼

Was very nice to receive a note from last night that was the recipient of the award which bears his name.

Junior Leader of the Year!!

I love, love…coaching. And just being an observer to watch how a young person grows and develops on and off the course is truly a blessing.

Just want to thank my parents/kids and .hennigar who are all involved with On The Green Family Golf Center AND ALL of the Juniors and Families who are involved in my programming at the facility…

And, of course, my wife, Dayna, who LOVES that I love what I do and is the BEST supporter (in my opinion) of Junior Golf.

Congrats to all the nominees and recipients last night!

The CHIP in for CHEO Fundraiser event organized by Kathryn and Kristina Robinson was held over three days from September 8th thru September 10th.

Proceeds from the Silent Auction, ‘famous’ Bake Sale, and all bucket sales were donated to CHEO. Direct Donations were also welcome to support the event PLUS the first $15,000 raised was MATCHED by their generous sponsor.

$30,294 was raised and those funds will be directed to needed equipment purchases in the NICU/other departments.

The girls will be following up with all donors via an email message (and Thank You) to provide an update on what equipment was purchased and why it was so important.

All in all, a unique fundraiser where all donors will feel a strong connection to our local Children’s Hospital and know how their contributions and generosity was directed.

On The Green Family Golf Center

10:00AM to SUNSET Daily…

We did a poll last week to ask out followers if they would prefer ‘set’ hours or squeeze as many minutes out of this ‘darker’ half of the season…and you preferred SUNSET daily so that is our plan!!

Each day we’ll post the SUNSET time on our story and encourage our followers to spread that word.

First bucket of the day will still be 10AM…the last bucket available will be SUNSET until we close for the season in October (date TBD).

OPENING DATE for the 2023 Season:

On The Green Family Golf Center will open on Thursday April 27th at 10:00AM.

Our Hours of Operation will continue to be 10:00am to 8:00pm DAILY thru till the end of August (at which time we move to 10:00am to Sunset).

On The Green Family Golf Center is operated by, and the HOME of Matt Robinson Golf Inc.

Matt conducts all of his programming, including Private Coaching, Club Fitting and Sales, High Performance Programs and Clinics for all levels at the West End of the facility.

Our ball dispenser provides ‘one size’ buckets of 75-80 balls and accepts only Credit Cards and Apple Pay. We have found this to be a most efficient way to ensure an inferred responsible, supervised and SAFE environment for our customers.

All ages (including those in a Stroller) and levels of golfers are welcome, always.
