Nathan Bresett of the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club generously made his second J/24, Woodjchuck, available this past weekend to crew members from the Nepean Sailing Club and the Whitby Yacht Club for some "match racing" during the annual Eastern Yachting Circuit regatta hosted by BQYC. We tried to keep it close, but Nathan and his crew sailed superbly in light and shifty conditions on the only day of course racing. Congrats on your second place finish Nathan and crew!

Due to an unfortunate lack of wind this past weekend, only one race of the J/24 Canadian Championship was completed as part of the Nepean Sailing Club’s annual one design regatta.
A minimum of three races was required to crown a champion and award qualifying berths for the 2027 J/24 World Championship.
The class association will be consulting with members to consider options to hold the championship at another date later this summer.
