Last Friday we wrapped up another summer season of Friday morning runs.

Friday mornings certainly bring OCRC’s goal to create community to life. A super special thank you to Robin Gandy for being the force behind Friday mornings. And of course, it wouldn’t be possible without Ethan Kelly Jenn and Simon Festa-Bianchet

Reminder to get your reflective gear and lights out.
We’re starting to rock dark starts and it’s imperative that a group our size is highly visible.

If you don’t have a headlamp or a wearable lights - glow sticks work in a pinch.

See you next Tuesday.

On Tuesday night we celebrated 11 years of OCRC with a riff on an Alley Cat - an Alley Cake 🎂

Big ups to our sponsors on this one who made it all possible - Saucony Canada XACT NUTRITION BEYOND THE PALE BREWING COMPANY OTTAWA & the BIGGEST thank you to your leads Gracen Johnson and Ethan Kelly for bringing this to you. They put in so much work (& countless paper mache hours). You know the day doesn’t roll without the many leads and volunteers behind the scenes.

As OCRC grows, we want to make sure we’re growing responsibly. This year’s Alley Cake helped raise funds for club insurance - an important part of keeping OCRC safe, sustainable and accessible for our community.
