Meet Our Coach | U15AA Stittsville Rockets 🚀

We’re excited to welcome Coach Mel to the U15AA Stittsville Rockets program.

With over seven years of coaching experience across multiple levels and age groups, Mel brings a player-centered and empathetic approach to development. Drawing from her work as a Canadian sport system administrator and mentor with Girls Forward, she is committed to creating a safe, positive, and growth-focused environment for every athlete.

Her approach emphasizes communication, trust, and accountability—key pillars in building strong relationships, team cohesion, and a positive culture.

The Rockets’ team identity will be rooted in joy, discipline, and collaboration, with an on-ice commitment to hard work, unity, and resilience.

The goal is simple: build great players and even better humans.

Four Rockets are taking their game to the next level this summer 🚀

Proud to have #18 Olivia Marconi, #20 Keira Peleshok, #22 Lila Halucha, and #31 Leah Courtemanche selected for the Rise Academy Elite Athlete Summer Hockey Program.

This elite off-season program focuses on on-ice skill development, strength & conditioning, and mental performance training—helping athletes build speed, confidence, and complete their game both on and off the ice.
