What's your favourite piece of race-day equipment?

For our Race Director, Adam, it's these flip flops. He's worked over 60 events, doing everything from set up to tear down, in this slides.

After over 2000km with them (yes, you read that right), they finally blew out.

The Brockville Railway Tunnel is one of our favourite run course features.

Imagine running through this light and sound show, where the temperature is 5 degrees cooler than outside.

The water temp is 21 degrees, the forecast looks awesome, and the band will start playing at 9am.

We can't wait to see you all in Brockville for the Thousand Islands event. It's going to be a fun one!

PS. We can't help but notice that the athlete on the right has the name "I LOVE RACHEL" on his bib. This kind of energy is exactly what you'll find at Somersault events. If this is your vibe, you'll fit right in at our events.

New for this year - our Thousand Islands event on August 9th will have live music!

Dickerson Airplane will be playing from 9am to noon, just outside the transition zone. You'll be able to rock out after each sport, or go recover with some post race food & music.

Matt (on the right) was one of the musicians that played at Fall Colours 2026, and we have no doubt that he'll be a fan favourite in Brockville, too!

Congrats to everyone who participated in the KTown Race this past Sunday. A special congrats to the 26 athletes who completed our ENDURO Triathlon - which is a Sprint Tri and an Olympic Tri back-to-back.
