10 spots left for Meech Lake 2027!

We wish this wasn't the case, but we wanted to give our social followers one last reminder about this sign up progress.

Once it sells out, check out our other awesome races or email [email protected] to get on the Meech Lake 2027 waitlist.

4 more records have fallen!

Since Meech Lake began in 1983, the top 3 results in every age group have been tracked.

At the 2026 Meech Lake Tri on Saturday, we have 3 new records and 1 new 2nd place record.

Ironically, this data is now managed by Scott Eavenson, who has the all-time record in the M75-79 category, along with 2 other top 3 results.

The 2027 Meech Lake Tri is 70% sold out, so be sure to sign up soon if you want to try and break a record next year!

Congrats to everyone who came out to the Meech Lake Triathlon yesterday!

The athletes, spectators, and volunteers all high energy all day.

Registration for the 2027 Meech Lake Triathlon opened last night, and it's already 60% sold out. Apparently the hardest part of this race is getting in! Head over to Somersault.ca if you want to score a spot in what is apparently a hot-ticket item.

This is Mike. He doesn't know it yet, but he's leading our 2026 Championship Series!

Developed in secret, it's now live. You can head over to Results.Somersault.ca to see annual rankings across 12 different categories, like "Most Races Completed", "Most Kilometers Run", or "Most Time Spent Racing with Somersault".

If you're looking for a new way to challenge yourself, signing up for any 2026 Somersault race helps you climb the rankings!

The best part - you don't have to be fast to win these categories. Some rankings value participation (do more races and you'll rank higher in the "Most Races Completed Category"), while others actually benefit those who spend more time on the course (such as "Most Time Spent Racing").

Two weeks ago today, our two Race Directors welcomed their second child.

Meet Oscar!

Adam and Elizabeth were excited to bring Oscar to his first Somersault race last week. We have no doubt that Oscar will be racing SuperKids Tri in a few years.

And Ellie loves her new role as a big sister.

Everyone is doing well, and Oscar can't wait to meet you all at future events.

Our most recent newsletter is ready, and it's called "Somersault: The Nerdiest Series Around"!

Head over to Somersault.ca and click on "News & Updates" to have a read and see all the fun things we're up to.

As a sneak peak, this background of this graph shows the number of people who crossed the finish line per minute, at Fall Colours 2025. In the foreground is how our changes will reduce congestion and make 2026 the best edition yet!

Congrats to everyone who came out for the first annual SuperKids Tri!

We had a sellout crowd of 300 youth athletes, with any of them doing their very first triathlon.

Results and race photos are over at Results.Somersault.ca.

Our next youth events are at The Canadian and Camp Tri, and we hope to see a lot of familiar faces.
