Same body.
19 days apart.
No keto. No carnivore. No bu****it.
No starving myself and calling it discipline.
Just eating right and feeding my body what it actually needed to train, recover, and function properly.
This wasn’t a perfect 19 days. Life was still loud. Stress was still there. My head wasn’t always in the right place.
But I stopped negotiating with myself and went back to structure.
And here’s the part people don’t like to admit: having a coach matters.
Not for motivation. For accountability. For objectivity. For someone who keeps you on track when emotions and excuses start driving the bus.
Having John Bezerra in my corner kept me honest and focused on what actually works instead of chasing noise or extremes. Even coaches need coaches.
I trained with intent.
I ate consistently.
I showed up even when motivation was gone.
That’s the difference you’re looking at.
Not a transformation program. Not a detox. Not a reset.
Just standards, structure, and consistency applied long enough to show up in the mirror.
This is how I live and how I coach. No extremes. No gimmicks. No suffering sold as progress.
I’m opening two coaching spots right now.
If you’re done making excuses and ready to commit, message me.
Serious inquiries only.
Built from the struggle. Forged for life.

Tonight was one of those sessions that tests your mindset more than your strength.
I went in with plantar fasciitis flaring up and a hamstring that’s been tight for days. Leg day ended halfway through and I was frustrated, no doubt about it.
Recovery has taught me something over the years. You don’t prove strength by ignoring warning signs. You prove it by showing up, doing what you can, and making decisions that protect the bigger picture. That’s true in training and it’s true in life.
I didn’t quit tonight. I adjusted. I listened. I walked away knowing I’ll be able to train again instead of setting myself back.
This is how I coach. Sustainable progress, honest conversations, and training that respects your body instead of punishing it.
If you’re training through injuries, coming back from setbacks, or rebuilding after a tough season, message me. Let’s put a smart plan together and keep you moving forward.

I want to be honest for a minute.
This past year wasn’t perfect. I kept training, but my nutrition fell apart when depression crept in. I stopped tracking, lost structure, and yeah, I put on some body fat.
Some days I was just trying to get through the day and the gym was the one thing I could still hold onto.
But I didn’t quit.
I kept showing up. Some workouts were great, some were just enough, but I stayed consistent. Because of that, I didn’t lose muscle. I actually got stronger and built more than I realized at the time.
That matters.
This is the place I coach from. Real life. Stress, mental health, setbacks, all of it. I know what it’s like to fall off your nutrition, feel disappointed in yourself, and still want to do better without going to extremes.
If you’re feeling stuck or like you’ve lost momentum, you’re not starting over. You’re starting from experience.
If you want help getting structure back in a way that’s realistic and sustainable, message Iron Will Training or DM “START.” Let’s get you moving forward again.

A lot of people are stressing because they “ate like crap” over the holidays.
Take a second and breathe.
I’ve been there. I’ve beaten myself up over food. I’ve tried to “fix it” by barely eating the next day. All it did was mess with my head and my body.
That whole binge → guilt → starve cycle doesn’t lead anywhere good. It wrecks your relationship with food and you start seeing every meal as something you have to pay for.
That’s not healthy.
You enjoyed some food. You had a good time. Okay. Now we move on.
Drink some water.
Go for a walk.
Eat normal meals again.
Sleep.
Get back to your routine.
No punishment. No starving yourself. Your body needs fuel, not another fight.
And yeah, I can relate. I’m still working on having a healthier relationship with food too.
We’re playing the long game here.
If you need some direction or someone in your corner, message me. We’ll figure it out.

Every January, people love to bitch about the “New Year’s Resolutioners”.
Read this carefully: YOU were new once. So was I. Some of us were rebuilding our lives from rock bottom.
If someone has the guts to walk through those doors, the LAST thing they need is eye rolls, judgement and attitude.
Be better!
Say hi. Offer a spot. Show them where something is. Make them feel like they belong.
Strong people don’t mock beginners, they lead.
If you want a tougher gym, build a stronger culture.
Welcome people in, or get out of the way.
And if you don’t know where to begin, reach out.
I’ve been there and I can help.
