WKC World Championships – Spain

The WKC World Championships kick off tomorrow in Spain! 🇪🇸

Senpai Henri and Senpai Nathan have both successfully weighed in and are officially registered! We’re excited to follow their journey as they represent our dojo, Team Douvris and Canada! 🇨🇦

Unfortunately, Sensei Oona won’t be competing due to a badly sprained ankle. Although she won’t be able to step onto the competition floor, she still has the opportunity to experience this incredible event and be part of the journey.

Tomorrow is the Opening Ceremony, so stay tuned for updates from Henri and Nathan as they take on this amazing experience!

Enjoy every moment, make unforgettable memories, and give it your all!

Let’s go Team Douvris | Let’s go Canada 🇨🇦

Congratulations to everyone who graded and earned a new belt!

We are so proud to share this special moment with our Douvris family. Watching our higher belts congratulate, encourage, and cheer on our lower belts after their grading was truly inspiring.

These students are more than great martial artists—they are wonderful examples of respect, leadership, and kindness. It is moments like these that remind us what a strong and supportive community we have.

Congratulations again to all of our students and families. Your hard work, dedication, and support make our dojo a special place to grow.

💗 THE PINK ARMY IS BACK! 💗

This October, we stand together in support of the incredible women and families affected by breast cancer.

The Pink Army is especially close to Sensei Martina’s heart, and we are proud to bring our dojo community together for a cause that means so much.

Get your Pink Army Belt at the dojo with a $20 donation, then wear it proudly to every class from October 1 – 31 . Every dollar collected will be donated to breast cancer research.

In Canada, approximately 1 in 8 women is expected to develop breast cancer during her lifetime. Behind every statistic is a mother, daughter, sister, friend, teammate, or teacher—and a true warrior facing one of life’s hardest battles.
Let’s show the women fighting, the survivors, those we remember, and everyone supporting a loved one that they are not alone. 💕 Our dojo is stronger when we stand together.

Join the Pink Army. Wear your belt with pride. Fight for hope.
