🎉Capital Curling Valley Open Champs🎉

After a bit of a slow start to the weekend, the team rattled off 5 straight wins through round robin and playoffs to take home the title in Carleton Place. Thanks to Team Steep Curling for a great game in the finals!

Our round robin at the Capital Curling Valley Open kicks off this Friday @ 12:30pm vs Lewis, then @ 6:00pm vs McBride. We wrap up round robin against Martel on Saturday @ 8:30am, with first-event Quarter-Finals starting @ 9:00pm Saturday night.

🚨Schedule Update🚨

Believe it or not we are already past the halfway point in our season! So far, we have been consistently building and getting stronger with every game and it is starting to show in our results. We have had playoff finishes at the Oakville Tankard and the first 2 Capital Curling events of the season, with just 3 more tour events to go before the Ontario Tankard play downs begin in January.

In order to continue our success, the team has made the decision to withdraw from the Soo Curlers Fall Classic in exchange for an extra practice weekend before we head to Carleton Place for the Capital Curling Valley Open.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃This past weekend, we competed in the Capital Curling Classic at the RCMP Curling Club. We finished our round-robin undefeated to advance us to the 1st event playoffs. After winning our quarter-final match, we fell just short in the semis to Team Roberge, who went on to win the event. And just like that, we’re back at the RCMP Curling Club this Friday for our 5th event of the season, the Capital Curling Classic. Our first game is Friday at 8:30AM against Team Lindsay, then 6:30PM vs Team Husain. We wrap up round-robin play against Team Woods on Saturday at 11:30AM before Quarter-Finals at 9:00PM. Semi-Finals and Finals will be Sunday at 12:00PM and 3:00PM.
