Our next medal pickup is today, Tuesday 8th from 5;30 to 6:30 pm at the Kiwanis Soccer Complex.

Please note there is no Girls practice today, Sept 7th, due to Labour Day. Sessions will resume September 14th on Field 2 until the complex closes for the season.

Mark your calendar! Our 2026 Annual General Meeting is scheduled Thursday September 24th, 6:00 pm at the Kiwanis Soccer Complex. You are welcome to attend the meeting to provide feedback/propose ideas and learn more about the behind the scenes work that goes into Owen Sound Minor Soccer.

Volunteer Positions:

Owen Sound Minor Soccer is currently looking for members of the community to fill the positions listed below. If you are interested in helping fill any of these positions or would like to know more, please contact [email protected] or stop by our AGM.

Treasurer: Oversee/review financial transactions (*note that you would not be responsible for making the transactions), make recommendations for where money should be directed, and advise about the financial feasibility of proposed ideas.

Lakeshore League Rep: main point of contact between OSMSA and the Lakeshore League.

Picture Coordinator: Responsible for finding a photographer/business to take player/team pictures or propose alternative solutions, and organize picture days.

Under 4 & Toddler Program Coordinator: Assist with the pre-season organization/planning for the U4 and Toddler groups and be present at the soccer complex on Saturday mornings (10:00-11:00am for U4, 11:00-12:00 for Toddler) to help direct the activities.

As we have concluded our House League season and are winding down rep season, we would like to acknowledge three recent members of our club who played a higher level of soccer recently than we are able to offer. The player pathway begins with house league -> travel -> rep, and for some former players, IModel or OPDL.

We have I.D Sessions coming up for an Under 13 (2014 birth year) Girls Competitive Soccer Team for the 2027 Outdoor season. All girls who are interested in playing on a competitive from surrounding areas in our region are eligible to attend.

All interested players must register ahead of time at: www.owensoundminorsoccer.ca/rep-tryouts-id-sessions

The first session is coming up on Sept 5th from 3-5 pm at the Owen Sound Kiwanis Soccer Complex on Field 2.

Sessions two and three are also taking place on Sept 12th from 9-11 am and Sunday Sept13th from 3-5 pm. Players should attend all sessions or notify coach if not able.

Congrats to U15 rep team for a well played season. While they were defeated 2-1 in their cup semi-final against a strong Puslinch Predators Red team on August 21st, they fought hard from kick-off until the final whistle, creating good scoring opportunities and defending with strength and determination. They left everything on the field and should be proud of their spirit, teamwork, and sportsmanship!

Way to go!

Please note that our girls’ practice and medal pick up for tonight (Monday, August 31st) will now be at Field 2 instead of Field 5.

NOTE: Today's pick up will now take place at Field #2.

If you were not able to attend Soccer Fun Day for our House League teams and your child did not receive a medal yet, you can stop by the soccer complex at one of the times listed below to pick one up.
