Registration Update

We wanted to provide everyone with an update on registration and the current waitlists.

Our team is actively working through the waitlists, and we expect the majority of players currently waiting to be cleared shortly. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through the numbers and ensure we can properly place as many players as possible.

U18 continues to be our biggest challenge. We have a large registration group, along with a significant number of players currently on the waitlist. We are continuing to work through all available options and will be focused on this throughout the remainder of the week to determine the best way to accommodate and clear as many players as possible.

Our goal is to have more clarity by the end of the week, although this work may continue into the weekend. Please know that we are actively working on this and are doing everything we can to find a solution for everyone.

These sessions are a great opportunity for players to get back on the ice, shake off the summer rust and showcase their skills. 💪🏒

Whether you’re an experienced official or interested in getting involved for the first time, we’d love to hear from you!

⚠️ A reminder to all applicants: All required documentation must be submitted and completed before participating in team or on-ice activities. This includes your Code of Conduct, Vulnerable Sector Check, and all required Hockey NL requirements.

Already on a wait list? Please give our Executive up to one week to review numbers and work through the wait lists.

🏒 AAA/AA players: Please remember to register using the AAA/AA registration tab so we can accurately account for those numbers.

YOUR CHILD CANNOT BE REGISTERED UNTIL THE REQUIRED SHIFT FORWARD PARENT/GUARDIAN PROGRAM IS COMPLETED.

We are receiving a HIGH VOLUME of messages from parents who have not completed this requirement.

⚠️ THE COACH/VOLUNTEER SHIFT FORWARD COURSE IS NOT THE SAME COURSE.

If you completed The Shift Forward as a coach, volunteer, trainer, manager, official, etc., you STILL need to complete the separate PARENT/GUARDIAN VERSION for your child.

👉 ONE PARENT/GUARDIAN PER REGISTERED PLAYER MUST COMPLETE THE PARENT/GUARDIAN PROGRAM.

Please make sure you are registering for THE SHIFT FORWARD: PARENT/GUARDIAN PROGRAM — not the coach/volunteer version.
