Eric M. and Miguel headed into the thick northern bush of Saskatchewan for an unforgettable whitetail hunt with Mink Creek Outfitters.

Cold mornings, heavy cover, and true wilderness where predators and prey share the same woods.

During the hunt, Miguel had a very close encounter with a pack of wolves…the kind that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up and reminds you just how wild this country really is.

After days of patience, careful setups, and reading the wind through thick bush, everything finally came together on a beautiful Saskatchewan bush buck.

Moments like these are what hunting is truly about; wild places, real adventure, and respect for the animals that live there.

After a wild week with the wolves, Alex is happy to get his annual photo with Mig, who finished off the week with a great dark-antlered bush buck.

What a once-in-a-lifetime experience one of our hunters was able to witness with Alex! A pack of wolves howling and celebrating a recent moose kill, only 100 yards from the blind. They were chasing eachother about 50 yards from the blind with no shot opportunity.

An unforgettable moment in the heart of true wilderness! Needless to say Alex removed the hunter before the color of his underwear changed. A powerful reminder that we are just visitors in the porcupine provincial forest 🌲
