Who is ready to tighten the belts and get onto the track?

Throw waaay back to where it all began. Yupp, that is the 'grocery getter' - Amy's first car. It was just about wider then the track was which made it pretty hard to pass, although it was usually the slowest car out there!

I don't think many people out at the Merritt Stock Car Association's Annual invitational made out unscathed. We definitely were on the bad end of some incidents last weekend. The 99 cars front end once again got ripped off, taking a radiator, fan, and possibly carburetor with it. After winning the dash and heat on Sunday, the #57 was ran into the side of and spun backwards into the wall hard during the main. The support bars were pushed towards the fuel cell and we were lucky in didn't puncture into it. After all that the #57 managed a 6th place overall and the #99 a 12th. We were happy to see 16 cars in the hobby class, and the club setting a record breaking number of cars of well over 60. Both the cars now have a lot of work to do before next may, but atleast we have some time to get it done!
