This October at the Knight Haven Lanes Bowling Alley we will be continuing our after- school bowling sessions for children in grades 1-8. It will be a drop-in based program, and all participants must be registered prior to their first session. The sessions will run Thursday afternoons from 4pm until 5pm until the end of April. Children 10 years of age and older may attend on their own, children 9 and under must have an older sibling or parent present during the session.

Start date: Thursday October 1st
Date/Time: Thursdays 4pm-5pm (doors will open at 3pm for children attending schools that get out early)
Price: $5 per child per session (cash only)

After-school bowling will be suspended for the following dates: Dec. 24, 31, Mar. 19

Children are welcome to come in groups or by themselves. Kids that come alone will be placed with a group upon arrival. Each lane holds a maximum of 6 bowlers. The bowling alley can hold a maximum of 36 bowlers at one time.

Starting September 19 we will be resuming our open bowling hours on Saturday evenings from 6:30-10:30pm and Sunday afternoons from 11-4pm. We welcome everyone to come out and join us for some bowling fun, it's a great way to spend some time with family and friends! For only $27.10 incl taxes you can get up to 6 people bowling for an hour with shoe rental included. Please give us a call at 705-549-3111 if you're interested in reserving a lane.

We are getting ready for our bowling leagues to start back up this September, and we still have several leagues looking for bowlers this year! There are spots available in our Monday afternoon seniors league, our mixed Friday night league and our Tuesday night men's league. Even if you don't have much bowling experience, don't be shy because it's all about having being social and having fun, and we will try to find the right league to fit you! Join Richard Leblanc this October 24th at the Knights Community Hall in Penetanguishene for this year's Scotch Nosing event! Proceeds will benefit Hospice Huronia Tomkins House, and the event will feature a presentation, Scotch samples and a light meal. Starting in May we will be suspending our open bowling on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons due to business slowing down with the coming warmer weather, and we will begin bowling by reservation only. Our minimum reservation will be 2 lanes of bowling for 1hr, but we will still be available to host bowling birthday parties and will be happy to accommodate larger groups for bowling. We will be hosting this year's Bowl for Kids Sake event on April 11 from 12:00-2:00pm here at the Knight Haven Bowling Lanes in Penetanguishene! We are still looking for bowlers to come out in support of our local children and youth, so please share this post, tell your friends, and let's make this event a successful one!

Starting January 10/26 we will be trying out open bowling from 5-9pm on Saturday nights on a trial basis due to many requests over the holidays for bowling on Friday nights. So get a few friends together and come on out for some bowling fun this winter, we'll have music, drinks available at our bar and at only $24+taxes for an hour of bowling for up to 6 people with shoe rental included, this is a hard deal to pass on! This year for the St. Anne's Society St. Vincent De Paul Food Drive, with the we were able to make a decent donation for those less fortunate with the help of our wonderful bowlers! Thanks to everyone who was able to make a donation, we appreciate your support!
