We’re combining the high lap-count chaos of the Western Rattle 222 with the energy of The Harvest Championship for one massive event featuring ALL Penticton Speedway racing classes, a huge prize purse, and championship battles for the Hornets, Legends, Street Stocks and WESCAR Late Models. Penticton Speedway is coming back louder, tougher, and ready to make some noise.

The Harvest Championship is shaping up to be one of the biggest nights of racing at Penticton Speedway this season. 🏁🔥

On Saturday, October 3rd, the postponed Western Rattler 222 joins the Harvest Championship for a massive extended event featuring Hornets, Legends, Street Stocks, WESCAR Late Models, Pro Late Models, and Hit to Pass.

With a two-part show, Fan Fest at intermission, live music, food trucks, and a full evening of racing, there’s going to be a lot happening both on and off the track.

💰 And the stakes are going up in a big way.
We’re putting together a huge purse with serious prize money on the line for this event, and we’ll be releasing the full payout details soon.

Drivers — don’t forget about Friday Practice Night on October 2nd to get seat time and dial in your setup before Saturday’s condensed schedule.

Western Rattler 222 — Event Update

In solidarity with our community and those affected by the wildfires throughout the Okanagan, Penticton Speedway has made the decision to postpone the upcoming Western Rattler 222.

Hosting an event of this size requires significant local resources, accommodations, staff, and support. At this time, we believe those resources are better prioritized for residents, families, emergency personnel, and others impacted by the ongoing wildfire situation.

The Western Rattler will be rescheduled. As we work to determine a new date, we will be reaching out to competitors for their input and considering surrounding race schedules to avoid conflicts wherever possible. A new date will be announced once those conversations have taken place and we are confident the event can move forward without placing additional strain on our community.

All tickets purchased online for the Western Rattler will be automatically and fully refunded at this time. Additional information regarding the rescheduled event and future ticket sales will be shared as soon as it becomes available.

When the Western Rattler returns, fans can still expect the huge purse, incredible racing, and full event experience we have been looking forward to bringing to Penticton Speedway.
