The Subaru Canada Adventure Racing World Championships (Sep 22 – Oct 4, 2025) are almost here!

🔹 Public – Curious what this sport is all about? The schematics give you a glimpse at the incredible 750+ km journey across mountains, lakes, and trails that the world’s best endurance athletes will face.

Before sunrise, the Full Course adventurers will gather at HQ, nerves tingling and headlamps glowing, before boarding the bus to Wisemans Ferry.
As the mist lifts, they’ll step onto the legendary Convict Trails of Yengo and Dharug National Parks, retracing the footsteps of history through wild, rugged landscapes.

From there, the course plunges into an epic paddle across the sweeping waters of the Hawkesbury River, before teams push deeper into the unknown with a trek and mountain bike ride through the untamed beauty of Brisbane Water National Park.

Meanwhile, the Half Course racers will carve their own path through Brisbane Water – a course that may be shorter, but promises no less fire. Every climb, every checkpoint, every decision will demand grit, teamwork, and spirit.

This is more than a race. It’s a story you’ll carry long after the finish line.

Always great racing with Team Thunderbolt. X-marathon Oceania Champs Lake Macquarie was a great race and very satisfying to come away with the win
