Penticton Basketball League hosts drop-in basketball every Thursday from 7PM to 9PM! Come out tonight and join. $5 drop in fee, must be 18+.

Professional referees and scorekeepers

Oct 3: Drop-in, team selection, and jersey handout. Special play from 7-9 PM.

Oct 10-24: Regular league games.

Oct 31: No games - Happy Halloween!

Nov 7-21: Continued league play.

Nov 28: Semi-finals.

Dec 3: Championship games and wrap-up party.

Registration is individual to ensure balanced teams, promoting fair play and community interaction. On October 3rd, we will host a drop-in style play session to evaluate players skills to create evenly matched teams. While we strive to honor teammate requests, our priority is maintaining competitive parity. This approach encourages players to connect with new teammates and enriches the league's community spirit. Players can submit teammate preferences to the organizers.

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: All games will be held at KVR Middle School.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Participants are expected to uphold a high standard of sportsmanship, commitment, and respect for all players and staff. Regular attendance is encouraged to foster team spirit and ensure a competitive environment.

𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿: All participants must sign a waiver acknowledging the physical risks of the sport and confirming they are physically and mentally fit to play.

Games will be recorded and available for online viewing.
Stat sheets will be posted online.
League MVP recognition and special prizes.
This league is proudly run by the Penticton Basketball Association, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to growing the sport. We invite all members to contribute to the success and growth of our league.

𝗡𝗼-𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗙𝗲𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆:

To promote full participation and maintain a competitive league atmosphere, a $50 no-show fee is included in the initial league fee for each player. This fee is refunded at the end of the season if their team has successfully fielded enough players for every game, ensuring no forfeits occur. This system encourages players to commit to the entire season and helps maintain the integrity of scheduled games. Team captains must confirm their team's attendance by Tuesday night each week. If teams are short on players, they should contact the league organizers, who will arrange substitutes from our sub list. Our goal is for all teams to be fully committed, allowing us to eventually eliminate the no-show fee as the league matures and participation becomes more consistent.
