Congratulation on the new location and the new beginnings!!! ♥️🙌✨

New Beginnings 🚲🛶💚✨

There’s something pretty special about watching a new adventure come together.

The racks are going up, the signage is on its way, and little by little our new Front Street home is starting to feel like Hoodoo. Every day brings another piece of the puzzle into place as we prepare for our first summer in this exciting new space.

And what a location! Right on the trail, steps from the lake, and surrounded by some of the best local food, coffee, art, and community Penticton has to offer. We have to admit, staying focused can be challenging when the smell of fresh tacos, pizza, crepes, and coffee keeps drifting through the door. 😄

More than anything, we're excited to create a welcoming place where adventure begins. A place where visitors and locals alike can gather, share stories, discover new experiences, and head out to explore this incredible region we are lucky enough to call home.

The walls may be new, but the mission remains the same: helping people connect with nature, each other, and the joy of adventure. 🌿

We're excited for a summer filled with new faces, familiar friends, outdoor adventures, and all the memories still waiting to be made.

Here's to new beginnings, endless possibilities, and another season of adventure together. 💚☀️🚲🛶

At CrossFit Penticton, everyone belongs. 🌈
This Pride Month, we want to celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community and reaffirm something that matters deeply to us: fitness is for everyone.
Our gym is more than a place to work out, it’s a place to build confidence, find connection, and be part of a community that values respect, kindness, and inclusion. We are committed to creating a space where every athlete feels welcome, supported, and safe to show up exactly as they are.
Whether you’re a long-time member, dropping in for your first class, or considering starting your fitness journey, know that you are welcome here. Your identity is respected. Your goals matter. Your presence makes our community stronger.
This month and every month, we stand with and celebrate our LGBTQIA+ members, friends, family, and neighbours.

Today we honor Captain Jonathan Snyder with CFPs very own hero WOD “Snyder” 🇨🇦

In 2013, when Ross & Jodi moved to Penticton to open CrossFit Penticton, they were walking by the waterfront and came across the memorial plaque for Jonathan Snyder and decided to dedicate a HERO WOD in his honor that they perform every year on the anniversary of his death. 6/7/2008 ♥️🇨🇦

Just days prior to Jon’s death, while on patrol in Kandahar, his team was attacked on three sides and all ANA officers were immediately killed. Jon displayed extraordinary courage, winning the firefight and conducting a fighting withdrawal of a company of 100 soldiers who had lost all their leaders while using a translator. His leadership and bravery were formally recognized with a Chief of the Defence Staff Commendation and the Star of Military Valour, Canada’s second highest award for battlefield valour.

On June 7, 2008, Jon Snyder tragically lost his life in the Zhari District of Kandahar Province, Afghanistan. While on a night patrol, he slipped into a large underground water channel known as a Kariz. The night was so profoundly dark that even night vision goggles did virtually nothing, and though Jon fought to emerge, shedding all 80 pounds of his gear, it wasn’t fast enough to save him from drowning.

Please join us today for “Snyder” 🙏🏻🇨🇦♥️
